First identify the DuitNow product
PayNet describes DuitNow Online Banking/Wallets as a checkout service that can receive payments from participating banks and eWallets. That is different from assuming a generic QR code, a manual transfer or every “DuitNow” label represents the same merchant flow.
| Label seen | Do not assume | Record instead |
|---|
| DuitNow Online Banking/Wallets | All merchants or wallets are enabled | Checkout path, participating app/bank and transaction receipt |
| DuitNow QR | A displayed QR is an approved gambling merchant QR | QR owner, merchant terms and whether the transaction is permitted |
| DuitNow Transfer | Deposit support means payout support | Recipient details, account-matching rules and withdrawal route |
How we will verify a platform claim
- Open the cashier while logged in and record the exact label.
- Separate deposit and withdrawal availability.
- Capture limits, fees, maintenance windows and transaction status language.
- Check platform terms and the payment provider’s merchant restrictions.
- Publish a last-checked date; mark untested claims as “Platform stated — not independently tested”.
A DuitNow listing will never be described as official approval from PayNet unless PayNet itself provides that confirmation.
