First: which DuitNow product is in front of you?
| Product | Direction it is built for | Relevance to a payout |
|---|---|---|
| DuitNow Transfer | Account-to-account or to a DuitNow ID | The rail most relevant to a withdrawal reaching you |
| DuitNow Online Banking/Wallets | Customer paying a merchant at checkout | A deposit/checkout rail — supporting it says nothing about payouts |
| DuitNow QR | Scanning to pay a merchant | Merchant-side terms apply; not a payout channel, and not a workaround |
What PayNet actually documents
These are rail facts. They describe what DuitNow does between institutions. They do not establish that a specific gaming platform can pay you over DuitNow, and they are not any form of endorsement by PayNet.
- DuitNow Transfer is presented as sending and receiving instantly, with availability and limits depending on the participating bank or eWallet.
- A DuitNow ID (such as a mobile number or NRIC) can be linked to one account at a time — so a payout to your phone number lands wherever that ID currently points.
- PayNet’s consumer page states transfers up to RM5,000 are free, with a 50 sen fee possible above that, and notes banks may waive it.
- An account enquiry step displays the beneficiary account name for confirmation before payment. It is a validation aid, not a guarantee that any third party will accept a particular payout account.
Why a DuitNow cuci stalls — in the order to check it
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or record |
|---|---|---|
| Still “processing” on the platform | Operator review or KYC queue — not the rail | Request timestamp, status wording, reference number |
| Rejected: name does not match | Payout account name differs from the registered account name | Exact spelling on both sides; avoid nicknames and middle-name variations |
| Money went to the “wrong” bank | Your DuitNow ID is linked to a different account than expected | Which account the ID currently points to in your banking app |
| Approved but nothing received | Rail or recipient stage: maintenance, limit, or restricted account | Any transaction reference plus your account’s incoming limits |
| Unexpected small deduction | Above-threshold transfer fee | Amount band and the fee shown at request time |
| Repeated failures to a wallet | Wallet tier caps or verification status | See TNG cuci and eWallet cuci |
What a DuitNow label does not prove
- It does not prove the platform can process withdrawals over the same rail.
- It does not prove every bank or wallet is enabled for that platform’s flow.
- It does not constitute approval, certification or endorsement by PayNet or any bank.
- It does not fix the payout timing, which still depends on operator review and the recipient institution.
Panduan Bahasa Malaysia: cuci guna DuitNow
“DuitNow” bukan satu perkara.
