QR and manual-transfer checks
A QR code can be technically scannable without being an authorised or appropriate payment route for the activity. Touch ’n Go’s merchant guidance specifically prohibits using a business QR for illegal activities including gambling. A comparison site must therefore document restrictions and must not imply endorsement from a payment brand.
