Five stages where a cuci stops
| Stage | What you would see | The question to ask | Evidence to keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| Not submitted | No request in your history | Was the request actually confirmed? | Screenshot of withdrawal history |
| Condition not met | “Turnover incomplete”, below minimum, or bonus locked | Which exact clause is outstanding? | The promotion terms and your bonus status |
| Under review / KYC | “Processing”, “pending”, document request | What is still needed, and when was it submitted? | Reference number, timestamps, document upload receipt |
| Sent to the rail | “Approved” or “paid” with a reference | Which rail, and what reference was issued? | Method label, reference, approval timestamp |
| Recipient side | Nothing credited despite approval | Are there caps, tier limits or restrictions on my account? | Balance before and after, wallet tier, bank statement line |
The trace, in order
- Open your withdrawal history and confirm the request exists, with its exact status wording and timestamp. Screenshot it.
- Check whether a bonus condition is outstanding — see Cuci turnover. A locked balance is not a payment failure.
- Confirm the amount meets the stated minimum and does not exceed a promotion’s maximum — see Minimum cuci.
- Verify the payout destination: correct account number, correct wallet, and a registered name that matches.
- Ask support for the reference number and the rail used, in writing. This single question separates operator delay from rail delay.
- Compare against realistic timing: an instant rail versus an IBG batch after a published cut-off — see Cuci bank.
- Check your receiving side: wallet tier caps, monthly limits, DuitNow ID linkage, or bank account restrictions.
- If approved with a reference but nothing arrived after the rail’s expected window, raise it with your own bank or wallet provider using that reference.
- Keep one chronological record: timestamps, screenshots, reference numbers and chat transcripts. Use the platform’s documented complaint route rather than repeated chats.
Realistic timing, by stage
| Stage | What documentation supports | What it is not |
|---|---|---|
| Operator review | No published standard — varies by platform, amount, promotion and hour | Not covered by any payment-network guarantee |
| KYC | Depends on documents requested and when you submitted them | Not instant, and commonly triggered on a first payout |
| DuitNow Transfer | PayNet presents it as instant between participating institutions | Not a promise about the operator’s queue before the transfer is sent |
| IBG batch | Published cut-offs, e.g. next business day by 11am after the stated window | Not a sign of a scam when the schedule explains it |
| Wallet posting | Subject to your tier caps and verification state | Not something the platform can see or fix |
Pressure tactics that should stop you immediately
A legitimate withdrawal problem is resolved with references, timestamps and documented conditions. The following patterns are different in kind, and none of them become safer by paying.
- Being asked to pay a fee, “tax”, “insurance” or “release charge” before a withdrawal can be released.
- Being told to deposit again to “unlock”, “activate” or “verify” a pending payout.
- Conditions that appear only after you requested the payout, and cannot be shown in written terms.
- Being asked to move the payout to someone else’s account, or to receive funds on behalf of another person.
- Pressure to continue in a private chat, with no reference number and no written record.
- Requests for banking passwords, full card details or one-time codes — no payout ever requires these.
Panduan Bahasa Malaysia: cuci tak masuk, apa perlu dibuat?
